In the UK the four major grocers offer online grocery delivery with Tesco, Sainsbury's, and Morrison's offering the most extensive offerings.

The high-end British grocer has faced increased competition from discount chains like Lidl and Aldi, which have been increasing their market share. However, Waitrose still ranks first in a recent survey by Market Force Information on customer perceptions of seven supermarket chains. The survey included 4,300 consumers who evaluated supermarkets based on variety layout, cleanliness, and appearance.
