In its bid to compete with traditional supermarkets, Amazon has launched a service called Amazon Pantry that allows customers to select household goods from a variety of 4,000 products. This service does not include frozen or fresh groceries. Amazon has been testing this service in London, and it is expected to roll out in other cities later in the year.

Amazon's new service is intended to enhance its existing Prime subscriptions. It has also begun partnering with grocery stores to provide its delivery service. This includes a collaboration between Prime and Morrisons which will give Prime members the ability to shop for their entire grocery online shopping sites clothes cheap, with delivery the next day.

The service is currently only available only in London and Home Counties. However, it will be expanded to other locations in 2021. To use it you'll need to have a valid postcode as well as an email address. The Amazon Fresh app guides you through the process of selecting your groceries and deciding on a one-hour delivery window.

The first store for the company outside of the US opened in West London in 2021. However, it was closed together with two other stores in Wandsworth and East Sheen on Sunday. The stores were equipped with self-checkout models, which meant that shoppers could simply scan their phone to pay at the time they left.
