They might also be capable of managing their emotions better through expressive art therapy or play therapy.

Parents or other family members may also participate in therapy to learn how to support children who suffers from ADHD and help them manage their symptoms. This could include learning how to manage stress and frustration, as well as how to limit the effects of ADHD on their relationships with family members.
