The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a great choice if you are seeking a robot vacuum and mop that is mid-range. It gives a great mopping experience but lacks the features that make up its more expensive sibling.

During tests it was able to eliminate pet hair and dry oats from carpets with a medium-pile. It does not use LIDAR, however, as other models do, to locate your home.

1. iRobot Roomba S9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top robot vacuums. It comes with a variety of features and incredible cleaning power, including an area for dirt that is built into the base of charging. This robot can recognize your habits for cleaning and suggest automated schedules to provide you with the ultimate hands-free cleaning experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the process of setting up. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automatic cleaning functions at the push of one button. You can select a general clean that focuses on the removal of larger pieces of debris like rice and cereal. Or you can choose two mappings to ensure that your entire home is thoroughly cleaned.

This robot vacuum performs well on floors that are unfinished and low-pile carpet. It can take in large objects and doesn't lose suction as quickly as some other models and can remove pet hair with ease. It does have a hard time with high-pile or plush carpet, however iRobot promises it will improve with the next models.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot, which concentrates on enhancing edge and corner cleaning. It's the first roomba robot vacuum that uses flat-fronted D-shaped designs. The company hopes this will allow it to fit into walls and furniture. It's a great improvement over the standard hockey puck shape of robovacs, but we found it to be only marginally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also features superior filtration that blocks micro-sized particles and allergens from circulating in your home. It's a nice claim, however, we're not convinced it's enough to justify the high price price.

Its intelligent navigation system makes use of sensors to store the layout of your home and vSLAM for mapping the interior. This allows it to stay clear of obstacles like staircases and other barriers, and also to clean your whole home efficiently possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and create virtual boundary markers to ensure that the homekit robot vacuum is aware of which areas need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it is about robots that combine mopping and vacuuming and mopping, the Roborock Q revo stands out. Its vac settings are just as effective as those on higher-end models, and its mopping system is better still--its spinning pads do a better job of scrubbing floors than a stationary vibrating pad.

The only downside is that it doesn't have an additional rubber brush for more thorough cleaning, but that's an affordable cost to pay for if you want to get one of the best robots on the market. The dust tank on the robo-vac is larger than many of its competitors, and filling it up takes only two or three cycles even when you've got the most dirt.

As for the mopping device, I was awestruck by its ability to scrub the tough dirt off my floors. The two lowest mopping settings, which are less powerful than the high-powered ones, create minimal noise, meaning you can work or even watch TV without being distracted. If it comes across the wall or a furniture piece, it gently bumps into it and moves along.

What distinguishes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to function almost completely autonomously, requiring only a little for human intervention. The robo-vac has a multifunction dock that automatically transfers physical trash into the bin hidden in the background, as well as cleans and drys the mop pads, and refills its clean water tank. The app is capable of alerting you when something requires attention, such as the clean water tank running low or a scheduled vacuuming session being cancelled due to a full dust bin.

You can also design and merge rooms to modify how the Q Revo manages your home. This feature is useful for those who have different flooring in different areas of your house or in the event that you have to regularly clear out clutter such as clothes, toys and books. The robo-vac is also very efficient and was one of the top performers in my tests, picking up dirt from carpets and hardwood floors in the first attempt. It can even clean up spills that are wet however I would recommend cleaning them off using a clean cloth before bringing the robot into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd want from a top-quality robot vacuum and mop and more. Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+, it comes with a powerful vacuum with a powerful suction that cleans hard and carpet floors, plus an omni-rotating mop that scrubs tough stains. It also comes with an automatic cleaning station that cleans and empty the mop pads to keep them clean and ready to be reused. It also has a sensor that can detect obstacles better and prevents it from falling on furniture or other objects.

The biggest difference over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that this model is sleeker and Robot Vacuum And Mop Combo more modern design due to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for Bang & Olufsen products). The robot is still quite large. It is more than two feet in the height and depth and weighs almost four pounds. However the robot as well as its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot j7.

This model is more efficient than the X1 since it charges faster and can clean up 1,500 square feet in a single charge. It also has a bigger, more durable dustbin to hold more debris, making it easier to empty it when needed.

Additionally lastly, the X2 Omni has a more intuitive app and a voice assistant that works offline, which means you can use it even if you're not at home. It also comes with more mopping modes and a smart routing feature that allows you to clean specific rooms or areas of your home instead of just following a specific path.

The X2 Omni is the top mopping robot. Its mop pads that rotate scrub away tough stains, and its motor generates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is outstanding, and it also increases suction when it senses carpets to ensure thorough cleaning. It comes with a huge rechargeable battery that lasts up to one week. The mopping feature of the robot is also extremely effective.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a premium robot vacuum and mop that comes with a host of convenience features you don't often see on robots at this price range. It is able to build detailed floor maps, identify different flooring types and is one of the few to automatically wash and dry the mop pads. These are nice features however they can place the L10s in the luxury category. This could make it more expensive than homeowners need.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaner. It is slim and tall with a white finish, accentuated by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by an enormous bumper, which protects furniture and vacuum cleaners from damage when moving around the home. Sensors are concealed behind the front pane, which helps the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top, you'll find a single button that essentially acts as an on/off switch. The button will activate the vacuum. Clicking it again will turn it off and transmit it back to its base station. The center of the control panel has the circular menu which lets you select cleaning modes as well as schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons will open the app's settings where you can customize how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation technology to map out your home. This produces a precise floor plan that allows the robot vacuum and mop efficiently and avoid getting stuck in messy areas. The LIDAR assists the robot vacuum to avoid obstacles and identify them as obstacles, which is an excellent feature for homes with pets or children.

The L10s Ultra has a solid vacuuming capability that clears 98.4 percent of debris from our hardwood floor test and getting rid of all but the most stubborn juice stains. The mops also work well, removing 98.4 percent of debris from our tile, carpet and wood tests. It wasn't as effective at removing sand from the hard flooring or quaker oats off the carpet.
