The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a good choice if you're looking for an affordable robot vacuum and mop. It's a great mopping performance but lacks some of the advanced features found in its more expensive sibling.

During tests it was able to remove pet hair and dry oats from medium-pile carpets. It does not use LIDAR, however, as cheaper models do, to locate your home.

1. iRobot Roomba S9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top robot vacuums. It is a powerful cleaner and a variety of features, including the self-emptying dirt container built into its charging base. The robot will learn your habits for cleaning and suggest automated schedules that will give you an effortless cleaning experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the process of setting up. Once the system is in place, you can start automatic cleaning with a single button click. You can select an overall clean, which prioritizes the removal of larger particles like cereal and rice. You can also choose two mappings to ensure that your entire home is cleaned thoroughly.

This vacuum works well on both floors with no carpet and carpets with a low pile. It can pick up pet hair and also suck big objects up. It doesn't lose suction as fast as some other robot vacuums. It has a difficult time with high-pile or plush carpet, but iRobot claims it will get better with future models.

The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that is focused on improving corner and edge cleaning. It's the very first Roomba that adopts an open-fronted, flat-fronted design. The company hopes this will allow it to fit into the furniture and Eufy Robot Vacuum walls. It's a nice change from the traditional hockey puck shape of robovacs, but we found it to be incrementally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also has superior filtration that blocks tiny particles and allergens from circulating throughout your home. We like the claim but not enough to justify a higher price.

Its smart navigation system utilizes sensors to keep track of the arrangement of your home and vSLAM to map your interior of your home. This allows it to steer clear of obstacles, like stairs and other barriers, and also to clean your whole home efficiently possible. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot vacuum brands and schedule cleaning times, as well as establish virtual boundary markers, so that it knows to avoid areas that require extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it comes to robots that combine vacuuming and mopping the Roborock Q Revo is a standout. Its vacuum settings are just as good as those found on more expensive models. And its mopping system is even better - its spinning pads clean your floors more effectively than the vibrating pads.

The only drawback is the absence of a second brush for deeper cleaning. However, that's not a problem if you want to own one of the top robots available. The robo-vac's tank for dust is larger than many of its competitors and it takes only two or three cycles to fill it, even with the highest dirt level.

For the mopping device, I was amazed by its ability to scrub off the tough dirt off my floors. Its two lowest mopping modes, which are less aggressive than the higher-powered ones produce minimal noise, allowing you to work or even watch TV without interruption. It will gently bump into furniture or walls, and then move away if it comes across one.

The Q Revo is unique in that it can run almost completely on its own, with no user involvement. The dock of the robo-vac has multiple functions and automatically transfers trash into a hidden bin. It also cleans and dries, as well as refills the clean water tank. The app is adept at notifying you when something needs attention, for example, the water tank being empty or a scheduled vacuuming session that was cancelled due to a stuffed dust bin.

You can also combine or create actual rooms in order to customize the way that Q Revo treats your home. This feature is useful if you have different flooring in different areas of your house or when you have to frequently clear out clutter such as clothes, toys and books. The robo-vac was also one of the top performers in my test, picking up debris on carpets as well as hardwood floors with the first attempt. It can even vacuum up wet spills. I recommend drying the area with a towel prior to sending it in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium Eufy Robot vacuum mop and vacuum combo that comes with all the features you can need. Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+, it comes with a powerful vacuum that has powerful suction that cleans carpets and hard floors, and a rotating mop that scrubs tough stains. It also has an auto-cleaning station that automatically cleans and empty mop pads to keep them clean and ready for reuse. It also comes with a brand new sensor system that is able to better detects obstacles, granting it the ability to avoid falling over furniture or other objects.

The biggest improvement over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that this model is sleeker and more modern design thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for Bang & Olufsen products). The robot is still quite large. It has a height of more than two feet height and depth and weighs almost four pounds. However the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot j7.

This version is also more efficient than the X1, as it charges faster and can handle a full cleaning of approximately 1,500 square feet on one charge. It also has a bigger and more robust dust bin that can hold more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

The X2 Omni also has a more intuitive voice assistant and an app that is functional even when you're not at home. It also comes with a smart routing function that lets it clean specific rooms or areas of your home instead of following a predetermined route.

The Omni X2 Omni has the best mopping performance of any robot we've tested because of its mop pads that rotate to remove tough stains and a motor that produces plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming is excellent too and it enhances suction when it detects carpet to ensure it's doing an excellent job. It also has a huge battery that can last for several weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as powerful as anything we've seen in a consumer-grade robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a premium model that has a range of convenience features not often found on robots of this price. It can make detailed floor maps and identify different flooring types. It's also one of the few robots that can automatically clean and dry its mop pad. These features are great but they also make the L10s more of a class of luxury. This could mean it's more expensive than what homeowners want.

It is designed to look like a modern floor cleaner The L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device with an elegant white finish that's enhanced by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine features an impressive bumper that protects the furniture and vacuum cleaner while moving around your home. Sensors are concealed behind the front panel, which helps the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum there is a single button that serves as an on/off switch. Clicking this will turn on the vacuum, while clicking it again will shut off the vacuum and send it back to its base station. The circular menu located in the center of the control panel allows you to choose cleaning modes as well as schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons will allow you to access the settings in the app, where you can customize how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

Like the irobot vacuum and mop Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation techniques to map out your house. This helps the robot mop and vacuum efficiently without getting stuck. The LIDAR also assists the robot vacuum to recognize and avoid obstacles, which is a nice feature for households with pets or children.

The L10s Ultra provides solid vacuuming performance which clears 98.4 percent of debris from our hardwood floor test and getting rid of all but the most stubborn juice stains. The mops are also efficient, clearing 98.4% of debris on our tile, wood, and carpet tests. However, it wasn't as great at tackling sand on the floor, or quaker oats on the carpet.
