She also refuses to ride on the side saddle and shoots villains (despite it being a dangerous job). While Avon is a little discomfitted by her erratic behavior at first, Avon soon realizes that she is his favorite.

I did find it difficult to keep track of who was who in the beginning, because Heyer refers to the Duke with a variety of different names in the first couple of pages. Once you get it figured out the book becomes easier to understand. This book was excellent and I highly recommend it. If you're a fan Georgette Heyer or just enjoy an enjoyable romance I'm sure you won't be disappointed!
